1. Contract, Right of Withdrawal and Course Termination
1.1. Registration and Start of Contract
1.1.1. Registration must be in writing – either online or on site.
1.1.2. The contract only becomes effective upon written confirmation by the language school.
1.2. Right of Withdrawal
1.2.1. Participants have a 14-day right of withdrawal without providing any reason.
1.2.2. The withdrawal must be submitted in writing via email (info@level-up.stuttgart.school) or by post (Sprachschule Level Up Stuttgart, Linzer Str. 88b, 70469 Stuttgart, Germany).
1.2.3. The date of dispatch is decisive.
1.3. Refund in Case of Withdrawal
1.3.1. In case of timely withdrawal, the paid amount will be refunded within five working days.
1.3.2. The processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
2. Payment Terms
2.1. Payment Processing
2.1.1. An invoice will be issued after the contract is concluded.
2.1.2. Payment must be made within 72 hours via bank transfer or in cash.
2.2. Payment Deadlines
2.2.1. The amount must be received no later than two days before the course starts.
2.2.2. For bank transfers, proof of payment (e.g., screenshot) is required if the payment is not received on time.
2.3. Installments and Fees
2.3.1. For courses longer than one month, payment in installments is possible.
2.3.2. The payment obligation remains even if the participant does not attend or only partially attends the course or drops out, unless otherwise specified in sections 1 and 7.
2.3.3. All bank fees related to payment are the responsibility of the participant.
3. Participation and Registration
3.1. Participation Requirements
3.1.1. Our programs are open to all individuals aged 18 and over who are interested in language training.
3.1.2. Minors may participate after consultation with Level Up Stuttgart.
3.2. Registration and Confirmation
3.2.1. Registration can be done via email, post or in person.
3.2.2. Within seven days of receiving the registration, you will receive written confirmation via email or letter.
3.2.3. The contract with Level Up Stuttgart is considered concluded only upon receiving this confirmation.
3.3. Visa and Payment Conditions
3.3.1. If a visa is required for your stay, the agreement becomes valid only upon prepayment:
Up to 12 weeks: €450.00 per four weeks
From 13 weeks: €430.00 per four weeks
3.3.2. A processing fee of €50.00 is charged for issuing a visa confirmation.
3.3.3. If the visa is rejected and this is documented in writing, the full amount minus the processing fee will be refunded.
3.3.4. Note: Some German embassies abroad may require full prepayment of the course fee. These regulations may exceed the stated amounts.
3.3.5. The regulation in section 3.3.4 also applies in such cases.
4. Start, Duration and Organizational Changes
4.1. Course Offerings and Information
4.1.1. Our language modules are offered both on-site and online.
4.1.2. The start date, duration, location, and times are specified in the program schedule.
4.2. Intensive Courses and Entry
4.2.1. Intensive modules must be booked for at least one week.
4.2.2. Entry into ongoing evening and intensive courses is possible after a placement test.
4.3. Changes in Procedure
4.3.1. In exceptional cases, the location of in-person classes may be changed within a reasonable range.
4.3.2. Changes to teaching staff, schedules, or other details are also possible.
4.3.3. Participants will be informed immediately in such cases.
4.3.4. Classes do not take place on public holidays.
5. Schedule Changes
5.1. Rescheduling
5.1.1. Changes (e.g., postponement of course start) are only possible in consultation and in exceptional cases.
5.2. Fees for Rescheduling
5.2.1. The first change is free of charge.
5.2.2. Each additional change incurs a fee of €50.00.
6. Course Cancellation
6.1. Decision and Refund
6.1.1. The school management decides on course execution no later than two days before the start.
6.1.2. In case of cancellation, participants will be informed immediately in writing.
6.1.3. Fees already paid will be fully refunded if no rescheduling is desired.
7. Disclaimer of Liability
7.1. Personal Responsibility and Damages
7.1.1. Participation is at your own risk.
7.1.2. The person responsible bears liability for any damage caused.
7.2. Liability Exclusions
7.2.1. The language school accepts no liability for damages caused by force majeure or slight negligence.
8. Data Protection Policy
8.1. Use of Data
8.1.1. Personal data is used solely for contract fulfillment.
8.1.2. More details can be found in our privacy policy.
9. Right to Modify Terms and Conditions
9.1. Changes and Consent
9.1.1. The language school may modify these terms for legal or factual reasons.
9.1.2. Changes will be announced in writing.
9.1.3. If no written objection is made within 14 days, the new regulations are deemed accepted.
9.1.4. Participants will be expressly informed of this right to object.
10. Miscellaneous Provisions
10.1. Validity in Case of Partial Invalidity
10.1.1. If individual clauses are invalid, the rest of the contract remains valid.
11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
11.1. Legal Basis
11.1.1. German law applies.
11.1.2. Place of jurisdiction is Stuttgart.
